Adobe Error Having to Sign in Over and Over Again
When you attempt to sign into your Adobe ID from an Adobe application, often you are unable to sign in because the log in screen keeps popping upwardly.
This issue is most oftentimes caused by restricted permissions on your computer for the following folders:
- Adobe PCD
- SLStore
To resolve this result, follow the instructions for your operating system to set the appropriate permissions for the above folders:
macOS
Windows 10
Windows 8
Windows Vista/7
Windows XP Professional
Windows XP Domicile
Set permissions for both the SLStore and the Adobe PCD folders.

Use the Finder to navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore.

Control-click the folder and choose Get Info.
-
Expand the Sharing & Permissions department.
-
Click the lock icon in the lower-right corner. Enter your administrator user name and countersign when prompted, and and so click OK.

Set permissions:
- System: Read/write
- Admin: Read/write
- Anybody: Read/write

Click the gear icon, and select Apply to enclosed items.
-
Close the Get Info dialog box.
-
Use the Finder to navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD.

Control-click the folder and choose Become Info.
-
Expand the Sharing & Permissions section.

Click the lock icon in the lower-right corner. Enter your administrator user proper name and password when prompted, and so click OK.

Set permissions:
- System: Read/write
- Admin: Read just
- Everyone: Read only

Click the Gear icon, and select Use to enclosed items.

Shut the Get Info dialog box.
To resolve the mistake in Windows 10, perform all steps below.

Open up a File Explorer window.

Click the View tab, then select Hidden items.
Perform this procedure two times, once each for the Adobe PCD and the SLStore folders.

In File Explorer, right-click the Adobe PCD or the SLStore folder, and choose Backdrop.

Click the Security tab, and then click Edit to set permissions:

- Administrators: Full control
SLStore
- Administrators: Full control
- Organization: Full command

Click OK to close the Permissions dialog box.

Select Replace all kid object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object. Click OK, and and then click Yeah.

To resolve the error in Windows viii, perform all 3 steps below.

Open a File Explorer window.

Click the View tab, and then click Options.
-
Deselect Use Sharing Magician (Recommended) at the lesser of the Advanced settings section.

Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
-
In File Explorer, navigate to ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore.
-
Right-click the SLStore folder and choose Properties.
-
In the Attributes section, deselect the Read-only pick.
-
Click Use, and so click OK to shut the Confirm Attribute Changes dialog box.
Perform this procedure two times, one time each for the Adobe PCD and the SLStore folders.

In File Explorer, right-click the Adobe PCD or the SLStore folder, and choose Properties.

Click the Security tab and set up permissions:

Click OK, and and then click OK again in the Windows Security dialog box.

ClickOK to close the Avant-garde Security Settings dialog box.
To resolve the error in Windows Vista/vii, perform all three steps beneath.

Cull Organize > Folder and Search Options, and click the View tab.

Deselect Utilise Sharing Sorcerer (Recommended) at the bottom of the Advanced settings section.

Select Testify hidden files, folders, and drives.
-
In Windows Explorer, navigate to ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore.
-
Right-click the SLStore folder, and choose Properties.
-
In the Attributes department, deselect the Read-just selection.
-
Click Employ, and then click OK to close the Confirm Attribute Changes dialog box.
Perform this procedure ii times, once each for the Adobe PCD and the SLStore folders.

In Windows Explorer, right-click the Adobe PCD or the SLStore folder, and cull Properties.

Click the Security tab and prepare permissions:
Adobe PCD
- Administrators: Full Control
- Arrangement: Total Control
SLStore
- Administrators: Full Control
- Power Users: Everything just Full Control and Special
- System: Full Control
- Users: Read and Special

Click Advanced and, if asked, accept the User Business relationship Control (UAC) elevation prompt.

Click the Possessor tab, select Administrators, and click Edit.
-
Select Replace Possessor on Subcontainers and Objects. Click Apply, and then click OK.
-
Select the Permissions tab and click Change Permissions.
-
Select Replace all Child Object Permissions with Inheritable Permissions from this Object. Click OK, and then click Yes.
-
Click OK, and so click OK again in the Windows Security dialog box.
To resolve the error in Windows XP Pro, perform all three steps below.

Cull Start > Control Panel.

Double-click Folder Options, and click the View tab.
-
Deselect Use simple file sharing (Recommended) at the lesser of the Advanced settings section.

Select Prove subconscious files, folders, and drives.
-
In Windows Explorer, navigate to Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\SLStore.

Correct-click the SLStore folder, and choose Properties.
-
In the Attributes section, deselect the Read-merely choice.
-
Click Utilize, and then click OK to close the Ostend Aspect Changes dialog box.
Perform this procedure two times, once each for the Adobe PCD and the SLStore folders.

In Windows Explorer, correct-click the Adobe PCD or the SLStore folder and cull Properties.

Click the Security tab and gear up permissions:
Adobe PCD
- Administrators: Full Control
- Organization: Full Control
SLStore
- Administrators: Full Control
- Power Users: Everything but Full Command and Special
- Arrangement: Full Command
- Users: Read and Special

Click the Owner tab and select Administrators.

Select Replace owner on subcontainers and objects. Click Employ.

To resolve the error in Windows XP Home, perform all four steps below.

As your computer restarts, merely earlier Windows starts, press and hold F8.
